About Us

BTH Equestrian Enterprises is located in Sloughhouse, CA, 20 min from Sacramento and surrounding suburbs. We offer training and lessons to horses and riders of all levels. From developing young horses, to preparing horses for competition in hunters, equitation, and show jumping to seasoned show horses ready to compete on the circuit. Our lesson program is the only USHJA Certified Riding Academy in Northern California and focuses on creating well- rounded equestrians with an emphasis on horsemanship, promoting safety and developing a proper foundation in equitation. The goal of the BTH program is to develop happy, relaxed horses who understand and enjoy their jobs while teaching their riders and handlers how to best communicate through effective aids, proper equitation, and good timing.

We are pleased to represent both BTH Equestrian and client owned horses. While sport horses and ponies are our focus we are happy to discuss your sales and purchasing needs. Utilizing a wide range of contacts to buy and sell horses into the perfect situation is what we strive to accomplish . Each sale is important and creating appropriate matches that will be successful and rewarding for both horse and owner is always the goal. BTH Equestrians can accommodate horses of varied ages, disciplines and levels of training. From developing young horses to preparing horses for competition in hunters, equitation and show jumping we strive to offer a la carte as well as full training options for every budget and goal. BTH Equestrians is proud to have started a Sacramento IEA riding team. We offer lesson, education and experience showing for students that may not have access to the larger show circuits and for those riders seeking a team environment to hone their skills and enjoy riding new horses in a competitive environment. The Sacramento Team is open to all middle school and high school aged riders! We travel 5-8x a year to IEA shows throughout our region and look forward to co-hosting shows next season. Silver Spur Stables

This picturesque 25 acre facility is state of the art and brand new with 70+ beautifully appointed double-sized stalls, a massive enclosed and covered arena, 2 lighted outdoor arenas, equisizer, round pens, multiple grass turn out pastures and gorgeous mature landscaping throughout.

Our new facility is located just off of Dillard road in Sloughhouse just 5 minutes from the Murieta Equestrian Center, 20 minutes from Folsom and 30 minutes from surrounding suburbs of Sacramento. We will be offering luxury retirement, rehabilitation services and hosting a multitude of clinics and events throughout the year.
